Davis Creek Ranch is a native Montana family operation in the south central region of the state. Commercial cattle have always been our main event, but a growing interest in developing a small band of outstanding cutting bred broodmares has led us to acquire and go on and prove some great individuals. In the process we have been amazed at the versatility of our cow-bred horses.
We take our show horses to the mountains as well as
use them on the ranch. They are smart and agile so they are fun to use. The mares in the broodmare band have
the bone, heart, and stamina for a wide variety of functions and we
believe and trust in their versatility. We focus on this mare power in our program and strive to
complement them with shipped semen from superior proven Cutting and
Reined Cowhorse bred stallions. Our goal is to produce trainable, athletic and versatile horses out of our proven
Cowhorse mares.
